CSK vs RCB: RCB's Formidable Record at Chepauk Stadium, Eluding Success for 16 Years criciplt20

 The first match of the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. CSK has proved to be formidable on their home ground, while RCB's record at this venue is quite poor. Out of the 12 matches RCB has played at the Chepauk Stadium in IPL history, they have only managed to win 5 matches and faced defeat 7 times.

RCB's record against Chennai Super Kings at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium is particularly dismal. Out of the 7 encounters between the two teams at this venue, RCB has only emerged victorious once, which was during the inaugural IPL season in 2008. Since then, RCB has failed to defeat Chennai at this ground. The last match between these two teams at this venue was in the 2019 IPL season, where Chennai emerged victorious by 7 wickets. RCB's last match at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium was in the 2021 season, where they defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders by 38 runs.

In the head-to-head record between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, out of the 31 matches played so far, CSK has won 20 times, while RCB has won only 10 times, with no result in one match. Additionally, Virat Kohli's record at this venue hasn't been impressive either, as he has managed to score only 362 runs at an average of 30.17 in 12 matches, with only 2 half-centuries to his name.

 जय शाह ने आईपीएल को यूएई में शिफ्ट करने से इनकार किया है

भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) ने पुष्टि की है कि इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) का आयोजन विदेश में नहीं किया जाएगा। यह स्पष्टीकरण कुछ रिपोर्टों के बाद आया है जिसमें भारत में आम चुनावों के कारण संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (यूएई) में संभावित स्थानांतरण का सुझाव दिया गया है।

बीसीसीआई सचिव जय शाह ने इसे विदेश में स्थानांतरित करने की किसी भी अटकल को खारिज करते हुए क्रिकबज को स्पष्ट किया कि पूरी लीग भारत में आयोजित की जाएगी। शाह ने शनिवार (16 मार्च) को क्रिकबज को बताया, "नहीं, इसे विदेश नहीं ले जाया जाएगा।"

ऐसी रिपोर्टें प्रसारित की गई थीं कि कुछ आईपीएल टीमों ने आगामी चुनावों के कारण मैचों के स्थानांतरण का अनुरोध किया था, और यहां तक कि दावे भी थे कि बीसीसीआई के सदस्य यूएई में आईपीएल के दूसरे भाग को आयोजित करने की संभावना तलाश रहे थे। हालाँकि, शाह के बयान से इन अटकलों पर विराम लग गया है।

भारत के चुनाव आयोग ने आम चुनावों की तारीखों की घोषणा कर दी है, जो 19 अप्रैल से 4 जून तक सात चरणों में होने वाले हैं। अब मतदान की तारीखों की पुष्टि होने के साथ, बीसीसीआई द्वारा आईपीएल के लिए पूर्ण कार्यक्रम जारी करने की उम्मीद है। फिलहाल, 22 मार्च से 7 अप्रैल तक के पहले 21 खेलों की तारीखों की ही घोषणा की गई है। आईपीएल की शुरुआत चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स और रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर के बीच मैच से होगी।
